Can’t decide where to take your kids for Spring Break? We suggest heading to the Spring Break Round Up event in Waco, Texas. The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum is hosting their annual festival this Saturday, March 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission to the event is $7 for adults and $3 for children, and includes general museum admission.
The event will feature fun and educational activities for the whole family. Activities from previous years included crafts like making bookmarks, bandanas, Ranger badges, and Medals of Valor; fingerpainting; and coloring contests. If you choose to participate in the Ranger Scavenger Hunt, Old West Target Game, or Wild West Shooting Practice, be sure to bring along your child’s mouth guard to avoid accidental facial injuries. You can also dress up in your best western gear and show off your smile for your family photos.
This year’s Spring Break Round Up event will also feature a chuck wagon cooking demonstration. After attending the exhibition, you can practice your own Dutch oven cooking at home, but keep in mind that even foods cooked over wood coals can damage your smile.
With the nicer weather, you’ll probably want to spend more time outside. If you want to participate in other outdoor activities in Waco, these events are sure to make you and your family smile.

Spring break is also a great time to schedule your dentist appointment with Dr. Locke.
