A native Texan, Dr. Locke was born and raised in Waco. He attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) for his undergraduate studies, before going on to earn his doctorate of dental science (DDS) from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1985. He completed a general practice residency program at the Olin E. Teague Veteran’s Center in Temple, Texas prior to opening his private practice in Woodway in 1986. Dr. Locke has focused his studies on advanced restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry, as well as TMJ therapy. He has studied at the world-renowned Pankey Institute and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where he has gained an in-depth understanding of comprehensive dentistry, as well as TMJ diagnostics and treatment.
The most rewarding aspect of Dr. Locke’s career as a general dentist comes from helping fearful patients achieve optimal oral health through sedation dentistry. He’s been following the latest oral-systemic health research that links gum disease to heart disease, diabetes, pregnancy complications, and more. A firm believer in prevention and early diagnosis, Dr. Locke strives to give every patient a healthy smile that they can enjoy for a lifetime.
